Iverson scorched New Jersey for 42 points and Korver chipped in 25, including the clinching 3-pointer on a pass from Iverson, to pace the Sixers in a 107-95 victory at Continental Airlines Arena.

Iverson, who also had 12 assists and four steals while playing all but the final 35 seconds, scored 24 of his points in the first half on the way to back-to-back 40-point games for the second time this season (he tallied 43 in Friday’s win over the Bobcats). He has reached 40 six times in 21 games.

Iverson had the crowd “oohing” and “aahing” in the second quarter. Vaughn was guarding Iverson tightly, but AI pulled a killer crossover that broke his ankles and swished the jumper.
