Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson sat out of Tuesday night's game against the Detroit Pistons after undergoing surgery to remove an abscessed wisdom tooth.
Iverson's status for Wednesday night's game at Milwaukee is uncertain. He ranks first in the NBA in minutes per game (43.4), third in scoring (28.7), eighth in assists (7.7), and is tied for ninth in steals (1.78). Willie Green replaced Iverson in the starting lineup.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson sat out of Tuesday night's game against the Detroit Pistons after undergoing surgery to remove an abscessed wisdom tooth.
Iverson's status for Wednesday night's game at Milwaukee is uncertain. He ranks first in the NBA in minutes per game (43.4), third in scoring (28.7), eighth in assists (7.7), and is tied for ninth in steals (1.78). Willie Green replaced Iverson in the starting lineup.
The 76ers also played for the second straight game without former All-Star Chris Webber (lower back stiffness and soreness) and Steven Hunter (right knee sprain).
