Here is the beginning of Chapter 10. Enjoy! 
Her head was spinning. Everything was in rapid motion. All too soon, too fast. This was too fast for her. Moving to Philly where she knew no one but AI? Selling her house to live with a man she has only known a few months? Her homegirls were right. This is too quick Shayla felt like her emotions had gotten the best of her. What was she doing really? her friends were right. Too soon, too quick. Shyala sat in her truck contemplating if she should asj her mother about this situation. She already knew what grandma would say. Her father still had no clue. And that was a good thing. He needed to stay in the dark for a while. Riding down the highway, Shayla kept thinking about Chuck's offer. He was so sweet. He was kind, gentle, loving. Everything a girl could ask for. No doubt that she loved him. But could this be something that was only suppose to last for a momnet? And she missed it? Maybe they were only suppose to be friends. She didn't know.
