Honestly, I don't know what to believe. I'm a serious fan and all, but I don't know. Maybe he did do it, maybe he didn't. I can't say that I know that he wouldn't do it because I don't know him personally. I'm praying that everything works out fine for him and his family. And I also agree with everything said. A part of me is like, "gurl you know Allen would neva do a thing like that. But the other part of me is like maybe he would. A lot of his team mates say that he has matured. Maybe he just made a mistake. Everyone does. But on the other hand, he knows the public is watching every little thing he does, so he shouldn't make big mistakes. But I'm not making any decisions to take him out of my life till his side of the story comes to the light. And is agree with Whisper, we are here holding him down but I doubt he would do the same for us. And Broke-em, maybe he changed. Just because he was in trouble before that doesn't mean he's always gonna be the same person. First off Broke-em what you wrote asn't right at all you talking about he jacked up what he had why you worried about what he jack up if you not goin support him and continue to down him. True I believe he did do it. It is a shock and suprise to some people because he's been trying to change himself and he was doing good for a lil minute. Yep I don't think A.I. will get jail time and if any very little. He might get probation but that's it. He didn't shoot nobody. But yea I'm rollin' wit A.I. on this one. They should have let him see his wife they shouldn't have let him get that mad. I ain't saying what he did was right but still it ain't that bad. Not bad enough for serious jail time. He wasn't gonna kill nobody he was just saying that. I have threatened my best friend with a knife before when he got me real mad but I knew I wasn't gonna use it.

AI_LL - some good points, but i'm looking at the bigger picture my brother/sister. everyone makes mistakes in life. true. but for someone like allen who's on national and world television...has huge endorsement deals...and is a so called professional at what he does...it doesnt make common sense for him to do something like this to jeapordize his career. so it's cool for him to go to schools and read with kids, talk about how education is the most important thing...tell the kids that using drugs are wrong and harmful...and then go hang with his boys....smoke it up...and then try and be a bad ass with a gun?
seems like some mixed messages...and a bit hypocritical. he decided to ...and his basketball talent brought him to the nba. along with playing ball, did he not realize that along with that came the endless media hype...cameras...articles...fans...etc..etc.?

Well in response to what you said I agree with some of the things that you said but most people don't think about what they're doing and what the results will be until they've done it and can't do anything about it. That's not only him but a lot of other people I'm sure you've done it a couple of times. He could be telling kids what to do and what not to do from experience he didn't say that he don't do it or would never do it he said for them not to do it isn't right to say that if he's going to keep doing true but he a grown man he goin make his own mistakes. If I had a little brother that did what he saw Allen Iverson do then he need his a** beat and so do my parents for not telling him right from wrong kids know what's right and not right they may not follow what they know but they know. The media wants a story which ever way it comes as long as it's dirt on someone who's well respected by people World wide they want to feed on to the people who like and don't like these particular people. Black people put themselves down by their individual self I know I've done some stuff that I know I shouldn't have done in the past but I changed as a individual I work hard to make myself and people around me happy. Again I say the only person that can bring you down is you and the people you let. Example if you wanted to change for the better no one can change you but you. But from what i've been reading he just got very very mad. In an article and on the news they said he got back home and found his wife naked in the house and his cousin was there.
