Ey yall. i know theres some mj fans out there but hold up and read my opinion. I THINK IVERSON IS BETTER THAN JORDAN. Jordan was good man dont get be wrong i aint a hater. he has more rings and mvps but look at his competition. He was like a Muhammed Ali without a Joe Frazier. He had a killer team, scottie, toni kukoc, rodman, and they were good at that time. back then, there werent many good teams. people were too intimidated by Mike and when AI came into the league and crossed his cocky ass up, i was like, Jay-z, meet Nas. He sayin this bullshi like Ivy's cross was a carry and all dat then the basketball world gettin on ai for crossin the greatest. they start tryin to call Ivy's cross a carry after that game but they started watchin the replays and saw it wasnt. Ivy dropped 31 or some that game too and "THE GREATEST" could not contain Ivy. And now to talk about his MVP's, who did he fuckin compete with to get those mvps. they comparin him to his fuckin teamate pippen, i wonder who was gonna win it, no s*** the ballhog does. If MJ came into the league at the same time Ivy did, MJ would definately get a different image. Yall post your opinions about what yall gotta say.

ayt, Iverson iz my fav player and he got more game than n e 1 goin around da league at da moment but, he iz not as good az jordan, 6 ringz(3 wit a crap team three wit a good team),6 finalz mvp'z, season/all star mvp'z galore, 30ppg 4 a whole career. And he did have competition, magic, bird(both not in their prime though), ewing, hakeem, shaq, the whole pistonz team, wilkins, drexler, kemp just 2 name a few. Much love 2 Iverson, but MJ waz da greatest.

Ey dawg i know what you sayin about the Pistons and those stars and all. But theres a star on every team these days. Like i said before, MJ was like a Muhammed Ali without a Joe Frazier. Bird and Johnson retired partway through mj's career and awards dont mean s*** when you comparin 2 players from 2 different era's. Theres just many strong teams and too many talented players these days that one player will win like 6 mvp's in their career or get a 5-6peat championship winning streak. Jordans mvps dont mean much either cuz they compared him to scottie, they were sayin scottie was the 2nd best in da league next the jordan. Every championship MJ won was with scottie and they had to give the mvp's to mj cuz he got better stats. Its too hard to say who is better, they played in 2 different era's like i said cuz MJ retired shortly after Ivy arrived and when they played eachother, the nba and fans knew that the MJ era was ending and a new one was starting.

ok yea, i hear ya, but lets compare skillz then, sure if iverson waz 6'6 like jordan he couldnt b touched. but the stuff jordan could do with a ball or playin defence, not many playerz can even dream about doin, these dayz. i mean he didnt juss jump high but he floated, the onli person i can think of that can even come close iz lebron, who in a few yearz will better than nethin the NBA haz ever seen.

Iverson still da man though!

aww yeah i feelin ya, mj does have a size advantage but Ivy da fasted playa to ever step foot on an nba court. everyone refers to him as a blur on da court and thats true cuz he only knows one speed, which is blinding. MJ did have better shootin, Ivy has better ability to drive, they both clutch. i mean too hard to tell man, i admire em both cuz they both changed the nba. MJ introduced African American marketing and AI introduced hip-hop image. they both got skills but they werent compared head-to-head very often

yeah i seen this thing on nba.com where AI is answerin questions for fans. One asked him what was his favorite highlight of his career and Ivy was like "probably shaking Jordan" LOL.

that replay is on a lot of iverson sites but hardly any of em work cuz the sites are so old.

I remember at the beginning of this season, MJ was thinkin of comin back. That shi was funny as hell. He was like "in my mind i think i can take on Lebron and Kobe but physically i cant" or somethin like that and i was like, i wish you came into da league when AI came into da league and we would have seen how many mvp's and rings you would have won then.

Depends... If he entered the league with his Bulls, then he would have won bout 2-3 rings and 2-3 mvp's. If he was stuck with Ivy's shittyass sixers, he would have gotten bout 0-1 mvp's and 0 rings. All matter bout the surroundings you got. The better team, the more awards you win.

Today i jus had a debate w/ da science teacher a.k.a. M.J. dickrida and he tryin to bring in all dis shi that dont even relate to bball. He tryin to bring in the gun incident and sayin he abused his wife. im like wtf, you Michael and Scottie can go start a 3some or somethin. He didnt have much to say after i got real deep with it. I like AI and all but arguably he is having his best year this year...and that was like every year from 88-on for Jordan(I dont know that for sure im taking a rough guess but im pretty sure jordan started averaging 30 a game in the late 80's) I think field goal percentage should say a lot too.

Sure if Iverson had a Scottie Pippen he would or should probably get some championships but if you want to compare his stats to being better than Jordan than that is a pretty hard thing to do.. I will not argue Iverson is the best player ever at his height and I also know Jordan wasnt even the most dominating player ever (Im sure you will say Chamberlain and Russel had even worse competition but they still had more dominating stats)

Saying Jordan played in a bad time compared to now is really not a good point on ur part....It doesent sound so smart since Stats around the league were up. (Meaning other leading scorers and such)

Obviously Jordan was on a better team than Iverson has ever been...do you think the sixers would make the playoffs if AI took next season off? I really doubt it. Just dont hold that against Jordan its not his fault he had good players around him... Some say a good coach but I think Larry Brown is just as good(Not accomplishment wise but Larry Brown is a premier coach)

Now ill compare there career stats since im just talking on memory(even though im pretty sure im part way right on the stats I mentioned) and if Iverson has a better career field goal percentage than I will admit that will surprises me....but based on the games I have seen over my life (Honestly its not like i remember Jordans career like it was yesterday) im pretty sure he shot at a much higher percentage than Iverson did so saying that Iverson doesent get the shots really isnt fair to MJ just try to think of both ways of this argument and not one sided...

So you know im not just hating on Iverson i think he is a much better ball handler and probably has a lot more assists than Jordan used to average but as far as saying AI is better I do not think that is something you can say at this point in his career.

Jordan was a lot better than i thought he was early in his career I think if u look at there career numbers (JUST STATS NO MVP TITLES OR ANYTHING TO DO WITH HIS TEAM) It will show MJ was slightly better..again im not trying to rain on Iversons parade but im sure he would realize who were comparing him to.
