The 76ers playoff chances are down to the slimest of margins. The
83-80 loss to Washington on Friday, coupled with the 89-80 loss by
Boston to New Orleans still gives Philadelphia a chance. If
Philadelphia wins all three of its remaining games and Boston loses
all of its remaining games, the Sixers will gain a playoff berth. A
win by the Celtics who visit Atlanta on Saturday, will eliminate the
Sixers since the Celtics hold the tie breaker. Cleveland was
eliminated from contention due to its 106-91 loss at Miami.
"This game hurt, but we put ourselves in a situation where we had
to win games," Eric Snow said. "Unfortunately, we werent able pull
it out (Friday night). There is still a chance. We've got to win all of
our games and (Boston has) to lose all of their games. Were not
really out, with each loss, the chances severely decrease."

i hope too that sixers could make it to the playoffs even if eventually they lose...just make it sixers...and i hope too that allen can play if ever they get lucky to play in the playoffs....    |
