| In my mind, LA has already won the whole 2002 Championships. It's not cause I'm a fan of The Lakers but because New Jersey Nets aren't good enough. I know I sound like some stupid LA groupie, but it' true, Nets aren't at that Championship level yet. Don't get me wrong, I like New Jersey and Jason Kidd is fantastic, but I don't think they will win. I always said the Championship team would come from the West, it was so much srtonger and dominant than the East. Anyone from the Spurs to the Mavs could easily win against Nets or Celtics or one of the better teams in the East. I also always thought that the team with the best cance of defeating LA would have been the Kings, now that that series is over, theres no one in LA's way to stop them from having a three-peat. I'm not saying I'm ABSILUTELY CERTAIN that Lakers are going to win, you never know what can happen in basketball, you never know what can spark NJ to be as good a team as the Kings were against LA. I'm sure The Nets are use to being the underdog, Jason Kidd said it himself, but I would be SHOCKED if the Nets came through with an upset to win over LA. I don't expect NJ to go down without a fight but I do expect that LA to have an easier time beating them compared to the Kings... much easier time. I predict LA will win in 5 or 6. |

Who ever came out the west was going to win the championship anyway I just didn't want it to be LA.

Aight. New Jersey is winning. I'm being optimistic. New Jersey has alot of talent and Jason Kidd aint gonna let New Jersey look bad. So the Lakers betta be ready for a hard time.
Ooh I hope New Jersey win I can't stand those Garbage *ss Lakers.

| yeah i agree the Lakers have already won the championship but i think the Nets have a better chance at winning against the Lakers than they did if they played Sacramento. It doesnt seem like any team from the East will win anytime soon unless Philly can have a really strong comeback w/ some better shooters and AI's healthy and his teammates helping him more :-) |

Da Lakers r gonna get da Champion because of some luck:
*If Divac didn't knock the ball towards Horry, then the Lakers would've lost dat game and the series wouldn't have gone to game 7.
*If Horry was standing somewhere else, he wouldn't have the chance to shoot the three-pointer and they would've lost.
Horry's a good shooter but the ball landing in Horry's hands when standing behind the three point line with time left before the buzzer sounded is just PURE LUCK!!!
I'm a 76ers fan and I hate da Lakers!!!
