Did yall know that b2k is breakin up? Yes it is true they really are breakin up. Everybody may think that this is a rumor but its not. What do yall think about this? I'm a real big fan of their music and J boog is my favorite member of the group and he not gonna be doin nothin after this. Omarion is gonna be comin out with his solo album and so is Fizz. Do yall think they will make it by themselves? Holla Back

Posted January 5, 2004-- According to reports, hip-pop act B2K had disbanded for undisclosed reasons, but those claims may be partially incorrect. The group's former manager Chris Stokes had publicly claimed that the group broke up, but now it turns out that the majority of the group have merely broken ties with him.Advertisement

In a statement, Stokes said, "I'm very, very sad. I did not know about this at all. I'm just as suprised as you all are. I've just seen the pictures of them signing with CMX [management] myself. Me, Omarion, and Marques Houston are totally shocked. No one person broke up B2K. They are like my sons, and I can't understand how, or why they would do this, but if the boys can hear my voice now, I want them to know that I love them and I wish them the best. Plus, I am surprised because they are still under contract with me."

However, if the group is under contract with Stokes, they may have undergone changes including Omarion going solo since he wasn't seen signing the new deal. The group officially signed with CMX Management on Saturday January 3 at an undisclosed location in Las Vegas.

If the group has unraveled , it's been pretty rapid. All members of B2K, ATL, Bow Wow, and Lil Zane all performed at the Atlanta Civic Center on December 28 and a number of other shows. However, a New Year's Eve show in Philadelphia was cancelled, which may have further fueled the alleged break-up.

Officials at Sony Music, B2K's label, didn't immediately respond to inquires by BET.com.

According to a press release Omarion and brother Marques Houston will continue to be managed under Stokes' T.U.G. Management.

"[B2K and T.U.G.] had a great run together making hit songs, albums and now movies. The kids are growing up and are interested in pursing their own careers. I have enormous respect for each of them, and I wish them success in their pursuit of their individual careers," Stokes said. "B2K was an extremely talented singing group that will surely be missed."

Dang that's messed up. They about to have a movie to come out and everything. Even though I don't care that much for them, it's sad to see them break up if it's true. They make pretty good music.

last night j.boog,raz-b,and fizz was on a radio station out here in l.a and boog said that they didnt break up it was just a conflict of intrest and that chris stokes was doin some foul stuff with the money and everything and they couldnt take it so they left but omarion was the only 1ne that chose to stay...and they said that they might have to put the movie release on hold and they said that you can hear the full complete and true story on january 12 on cmxvision.com

and callers was cryin and everything i was like damn they act somebody fuckin died or sum s*** and they kept on repeatin questions and everything it was pissin me off..but this one girl called and showed mad love it was sweet..but i really dont care cuz they well i should say omarion couldnt sing but they can dance they asses off tho

Dang! I just read an article on ABC news website and it was saying that there was a conflict within the group, which caused the breakup. Chris Stokes said he will continue to manage Omarion's career.Booooooooooo! Omarion lame anyway. So it really isn't anymore B2GAY. Oh well, life goes on.

LMAO...B2Gay thats exactly how I feel about them. And I agree life goes on. Omarion will hang aroung for another year and then disappear and try to return to the scene. The rest ( I dont know they names Lil Fuzz, J-Boo, Raspberry..I dunno) will try to from together a group but never release an album just like the ex members of DC.

i love b2k. jarell's ma #1 out of dat group. then comes fizz(druex). i didn't feel wierd when i heard omarion was leaving the group, but when i heard since he's leaving there's no b2k i got sooo mad. and plus they might get rah j so yeah. i think it won't be de same though without o even though i'm not craving for him as much as i want jarell
