I love Al and it makes me uneasy about critizing his game, but as a loyal fan I think I have that right. To me this season so far AI has put up the same amount of shots as last year, but there is no need for him to do that this year, to me the reason that his shoots are not going in, is because he is fading away to much and releasing to many quick shoots with less follow through. If AI gets a good look and follow through and not fade away so much, I think his shoot would be better. He can do this because last year in the finals the commentators were saying the same thing, and sometimes he would fade and sometime he wouldn't. Basically at this point in time he needs to put the ball on the floor until his shoot gets better....... |

I remember hearing that from last year's finals too, but I think he's been shooting like that since the beginning. His recent slump may be because of his elbow that hasn't fully healed yet. But IMO i think he needs to get more easy baskets and score in the paint more. |

I FEEL DA SAME WAY, HE IS TAKING A LITTLE TOO MANY SHOTS AND NOT GETTING ENOUGH IN. HE SHOULD CONCENTRATE MORE ON HIS SHOT AND NOT TAKE THINGS TOO FAST. ALSO HE NEEDS MORE REST ON HIS ELBOW. |

I think Iverson's problem is simply-he has none.He is doin all he can to bring the Sixas back to the Finals but he has little help. The other guys need to step up to da plate.Hill,Geiger and Jones are gone and da Sixas aren't the same team which means they are gonna hafta work harder than last year.Iverson's shot is fine with me.If anything more rotation on the ball is da key.And wheres da screens he needs? As predicted by Charles, this is a man's game meaning da zone is messin Iverson up.His strength(outta many)is takin people off the dribble. The zone don't allow him to do dat. He's open so he shoots. It's what you're supposed to do.Dikembe rebounds,Snow assists and Harpring needs to be more consistent with his shots.Larry Brown said dat he was upset with Iverson's shot selection?Maybe if da other guys would work hard,Iverson would get em da ball more. You gotta earn it man. |
