I would say he is rather R&B singer than rapper...

I also think Akon is more R&B.
My favorite rapper right now would have to be LIL WAYNE. Not too many people in rap are spitting hot fire right now but LIL Wayne deffinitly is. Tha Carter 2 was the best Album of 2005. If you haven't heard it yet, you need to because every track is hot.
