Allen i would like to take this special moment to thank you for your work with the MAKE-A-WISH foundation. You don't know me from a can of paint but last week something really spectacular happened in my and the life of my nephew that was scheduled to meet with you for his wish. God touched his life and the call came in that he had a near perfect match for a liver. He turned 14 on April 4th. He is recovering quite well in Memphis, he is now in a private room and for the first time in probably 8 years his frail little body is not fighting the inner itch and sleepless nights. I just want you to know that we as a family want to thank you and all the pro athletes that only receive news coverage most of the time if you have been stopped for speeding or having everyday family problems. I don't care how much money you guys make it really doesn't matter to me, at the end of the day God gave you a gift and i know he gave you a heart, thanks for caring and i truly hope that each and every one of your fans read this note to let them know that you touched so many lives and hearts because you was willing to give my nephew what could have been his final wish. My thoughts and prayers go out to you from Romoland, Ca. Thank you from the entire Blanton family.
