I love watching AI play - he is so fearless and determined to win. He gives 100 percent every game and never gives up. AI is the reason I watch basketball. I don't blame him for asking for the trade. The Sixers organization is a mess; too much upheavel and change and no positive results! But I will miss being able to see him live at the Wachovia Center. Looking forward to seeing him smiling and winning somewhere else - I'll be watching. |

Iverson is always gonna be the greatest for me and defenetly at position of No.1. Yeah he used to play at No.2 but Mike is a legend and he occupied this position as well. But there are two different players with different ambitionz but AI is my favorite...However Jordan gonna be Jordan and im glad that there is no one like him yet and i do hope never gonna be.
As for AI i do wish him the best and wish that he find himself in Minnesota. I do think it's gonna be a strong company Iverson-Garnett. Talking about this i gonna mention that playin NBA Live 2004 at PC i bought Garnett for Sixers and he looked tight in a Sixers jersey with No.21...so now it's a possibility for Iverson to try on a T-Wolves' one))) |

I agree I'd like to see AI in Minnesota the only other place is Denver and that is unlikely. I'd love to see him paired up with Garnett or Mello. At least he'd be on a team that had a chance to win. Sixers Management is so cold; cleaning out his locker and taking his picture off the website and scoreboards ---what are they gonna do if they can't trade him...that's a fence that ain't never going to get mended. Not until they retire his jersey. |

yes the management is all bad there...Iverson has built the Sixers just the way they are (i don't mean this freaky season however they started it fine with 3 straight wins) and many people loved basketball just cuz of him... 4 me he always gonna be a part of Sixers and look around the world how many people know Iverson and how many people know Snider lol...but Snider treats him like he has done nothing for Sixers and city of Philadelphia...Yes thats very cruel of him and the whole management to act like they do...and the reason of all misforunes of the Sixers are Chicks and Webber |

I think the trade will be the best for allen, he has been trying hard to help the sixers. And he does all he can and gives 150 percent every game and it seems as though he was the team. A different look for him will be great, what ever team he goes to I will sopport him. I love his game him and his hard working abliity to win. All he wants is the best maybe another team is best? Who else will throw their body around like he does? |

Iverson did what he had to do to bring quality basketball to Philly. It is a shame that management did not surround him with players who complimented his game.
Al, cut your losses my good brother. Bring your show to the west , so that my sons and I can see you more often. Stay the course........

Allen is off to Denver (once the airport opens). I am anxious to watch him play with another team. He gave a very good interview with Stephen A. Smith on ESPN last night. As usual, what you see is what you get -- although, I do think he held back a little bit on the 76ers organization--Mo and Billy. Too raw right now.
I will miss seeing him live. The Sixers season is in the tank. So I'll be watching the Nuggets. |

Of course he took the high road. Notice how he paused, but what came out of hismouth. He deserved much better. Now the 76ers will pay when they face the Nuggets on January the 2nd.... |

Really can't wait to watch the Jan 2 game v Sixers. Wish Carmello would be back from his suspension; but Allen will be on that night -- though, to me, he has nothing to prove.
Sometimes it is what you don't say that tells everything. He did hesitate a long time before he spoke about the 76ers management.
Really good articles in the Philly papers this week about his years here...why people either love 'im or hate 'im -- but a really fair assessment. If basketball people want to criticize his results here or his game that is their right -- I'll argue it -- but everyone likes certain styles of play, attitudes on the court. What I don't accept is people's criticism
of Allen, the person. People are very quick to believe the worst about him and I believe it's based upon their own ignorance and racism. He's never been an angel - but most warriors are not! |
