Posted: Sat May 21, 2005 12:06 am Post subject: My first story: Ballin' Gurl
After reading some of your stories [and I really like them!!], I finally registered to post mine. I've already finished it...but on paper. So I'm gon post it part after part, because I need to write it on computer.
I hope you'll enjoy readin it. So here's part one:
Note: Coach Larry Brown and part-owner Pat Croce are still with the Sixers. Allen is married to Tawanna and they have 2 kids, Tiaura and Deuce. The “Philadelphia Glow” is the city’s WNBA team using the Sixers arena while male NBA off-season.
With WNBA draft’s night just about one week to go, the Glow invited some girls for tryout to Philly.
Allen and Pat are sitting in the owner box, watching the girls doing some lay-ups on the court. There’s one girl with the Mariah Carey-like long blonde hair that caught Allen’s attention.
A: Ay yo, who’s that girl, Pat? The one with the blonde hair.
P: Jennifer. Jennifer Elverz. Why?
A: I’m just askin…I like her style.
Pat looks at him as if he just wanted to say something. But Allen quickly speaks up.
A: Naaw man…I mean I like the way she plays. You know, her style. She reminds me of myself. She small, she quick and she can score on anybody out of there.
P: Yeah, that’s right. But I’m still not sure if we will pick her, because look, she’s like very young. Maybe a little bit too young to carry the responsibility and to deal with all the pressure that comes up being a pro.
A: How hold?
A: Oh..[breaks into silence for a moment]…But you should talk to her though, maybe she mature.
P: I planned to have dinner with her after practise. You wanna accompany us?
Later she comes out of the locker room. Suddenly standing right in front of Allen and Pat, Allen notices what beautiful eyes she has. They are so huge and green, not typical for someone with that Beyonce-like skin color.
J [enthusiastic]: You come with us!?
A: I think so.
J: Oh, fine!
P: Haha…so let’s go then.
In the restaurant then, they make their orders and start talking.
P: Ok, now tell me, Jen: Why do you want to become a professional basketball player?
J: There’s different reasons. I mean, yeah of course there is the money, but in first place I wanna proof people, especially my dad, that I can be somebody. Y’know, he always been treatin me bad and stuff, made me feel like I didn’t value at all…
P [interrupts her as he notices her eyes filling with tears]: I really enjoy the way you play, but I’m worried you might be too young to face the game.
J [looks up]: What you mean?
P: You might not be able to handle all the pressure and the lack of privacy.
J: Oh well, I’ve been through a lotta pressure in my life and trust me, I’ve overcome it all. I dunno if I really can, but I feel like I can handle anything right know.
Pat’s cell phone rings and he stands up.
P: Excuse me. I’ll be back in a minute. [leaves the table]
Jen and Allen are both looking up and down at each other and don’t know what to say until Allen finally breaks the silence.
A: You don’t look like a basketball player.
J: I know, but you don’t either.
A [smiling]: I mean, those female players they most likely look like men…and you…you pretty. You could also go and become a model if you wanna be somebody.
J: Hmm…I don’t know. But I don’t wanna be a model anyway. That business is way too superficial to me. Besides I love food and though I know my shape ain’t right, I don’t care.
A: You crazy.
As Pat returns they continue talking about business and private stuff and have fun together.
When Allen finally gets home, he’s a bit confused. There’s something about this girl that really gots him, but she’s like over 10 years younger than him and he already got a family.
A [throwing his thoughts away]: Whatever…
He goes to his bedroom, where Tawanna is already lying in be. So he gets into the bathroom to take a shower. Suddenly Tawanna is standing right behind him, naked, kissing his neck. Jen’s face and her banging body immediately disappears from his mind when he gets busy with his wife. The water is falling down, covering their bodies and they make love to each other over and over.
Draft’s night. Jen’s heart beats like crazy, the speaker's announcing:
S: The Philadelphia Glow choose Jennifer Elverz as their 1st round pick!
“Oh my God”, she thinks, while screaming hysterically, “Now I’m number one overall!!” Then she fights her tears. Altough they are tears of joy, she doesn’t want to look like crying on her first photo session as a WNBA player.
Allen, sitting at home in Philly, has seen the draft on TV. He feels happy for Jen and remembers the dinner with her. He decides to give her a call.
A: Hey, congratulations!
J: Uuh…thanks. But who am I talking to?
A: It’s me, Allen.
J: Oh! How you doin?
A: Fine. How couldn’t I, listening to your voice…
J: Stop that…so what you want from me?
A: Ask you if you wanna hit some clubs with me n my friends.
J: Sure!....[quietly adds]But no…I don’t think so.
A: Why? What’s wrong?
J: I wanna say…uh…I just got drafted today, but I ain’t got no money yet to go out partying…
A: Are you fuckin playin!?
J [confused]: Eeeehm…no?
A: Doesn’t matter if you go money or not. I’ma pay your drinks and you can bring some of your girls too!
J: I’m not that kind of girl that’s…
A [interrupts her]: Yeah I know you all independent and stuff. So let’s make a deal: You let me pay tonight and next we go out and you already a millionaire, you can pay. That’s cool with you?
J: Ok, thank you. You pick me up?
A: At 10 p.m.
J: Sounds great. I’m at the Holyday Inn, room no. 406. See you then.
Jen looks at her timer and notices she has to be ready to go in about an hour. So she quickly takes a shower and heads toward her closet. “Too bad I haven’t been paid yet, now I’ma have to wear some of that old stuff”, she thinks sadly. Then she picks a short light blue denim skirt that shows more than it covers ans a tight costum made women’s Michael Vick NFL jersey. She knows Allen is into that urban fashion style and she wants to look good to him. For any reason all this makes her feel like she’s about to have a date.
J [to herself]: C’mon girl, you ain’t havin no date, it’s gone be nuthin but a night out partying with some friends….damn, that man’s got a wife.
She remembers he told her to bring some friends. Well she has no friends here in Philly, because she comes from Compton/Los Angeles. So she calls Cynthia, the other girl the Glow drafted today. Cynthia agrees to accompany Jen and will come to her room at 22 pm. Luckily Cynthia stays at the same hotel.
Jen does her make up and just has chosen the white boots over her Air Force 1s, [because the boots would make her look taller as she is just 5-5 and her legs would look thinner, too] as somebody knocks on the door.
J: Hi! I’m glad it’s you first and not Allen, cuz I ain’t done my hair yet. [greets Cynthia with a kiss one the cheek]
C: You look great…nice skirt, sexy lady!
J: Aaaaw....thank you. You pretty hot, too!
Cynthia turns on TV, while Jen goes back to the bathroom to iron her hair and to put her jewellery on. Cynthia, watching her, shouts:
C: They fake, huh?
J: [looks down herself]: Naw…they ain’t.
C: Sure!? Where you got that money from?
J: Eeehrr…what you mean?
C: The jewellery, what else!?
Embarrassed Jen takes a look at her breast and both girls start laughing. Finally Jen tells Cynthia, of course her jewellery is fake. As she finishes the sentence someone knocks on the door again.
A [greets both girls with a kiss]: Both y’all look damn hot!!
When they leave the hotel, Jen walks in front of Allen and he couldn’t take his eyes away from her booty.
A [thinks]: Damn, that girl got ass! And she knows how to work it! God…I have to think of something else.
He is glad they soon arrive and he can get inside the car, so she won’t see his little man standing. She definitely turns him on and he hasn’t even touched her. Too bad he already got a wife, he silently thinks.
In a black Hummer they make their way to the club. Allen brought 4 of his friends and they have a driver too, to make sure everyone could enjoy themselves havin some drinks. Leaving the car, Jen worries:
J: I’m only 18. What if they won’t let me in?
A: They will.
J: But what if not?
A: Then he will get our little private party on together, just you and me.
“Damn it man”, she thinks, “That man knows how to keep my face blushed.” But there actually is no need to worry, no one asks her for an ID.
The girls ain’t never seen something like that. They stop right after the antrance and watch the people in there.
C: Aaaah look…there goes Luda and his boys!
J: Hell yeah you right, girl! And there, look at Tracy McGrady on the bar!
C: Come on, ma! Let’s pass him, say hello!
As they do so, he just glances at them and turns away.
J: That man’s huge, girl!
C: Yea, noticed it….but he don’t know us.
J: Haha…he thought we some groupie bitches hollering at him.
C: Who cares, in some weeks everybody will know our names!
J: Hopefully….Hey let’s hit the dancefloor.
They go downstairs to dance. Many guys try to approach them. Jen looks toward her girl and sees Cythia’s already enjoying herself with a fine looking man. Secretly Jen wants Allen, so she refuses to let any guy come close to her.
J [thinks]: Dancin alone is boring and those guys won’t leave me alone…uh, it’s getting hot in here….think I’ma look for the boys to have a drink.
She leaves the dancefloor and goes the stairs up to where Allen and his company are standing.
Ray, one of Allen’s friends shouts:
R: Ay yo, where that other girl at?
J: Her name is Cynthia and she still down there dancing.
R: She cute.
J: Well then you better hurry…other men downstairs think she cute also.
R: Damn it! [runs down to look for Cynthia]
Jen notices Allen has been looking at her all the time since she appeared. So she does some steps towards him.
J: Hey, somethin wrong with me?
J: Hmm…my feet start hurtin…I shouldn’t have put on these boots. Can we go sit down somewhere?
They sit down on one of the couches near the bar. Allen stares at her legs.
A: No, you shouldn’t have worn other shoes, your legs look beautiful in em.
J [changes topic cuz she feels her face is blushing again]: You don’t like dancing or what?
A: Not really…
J: Hmmm…well I do.
A: Yeah…I seen that. You a good dancer.
J: Huh? How you seen me dance?
A: I been watchin you all the time. May I ask you something?
J: Depends on what.
A: You not a real black, huh?
J: Naw, I ain’t. My dad, he’s black and my mom is puerto rican. Does that make a problem to you?
A: No, not at all. I was just wondering where you got those sexy green eyes from. You speak Spanish?
J: Sí, pero mi familia no cree que mi español sea bueno…
A: Well, let’s get back to English, baby! I don’t get no single word.
A: You wanna have a drink?
J: Sure. Thanks.
He orders a bottle of Crystal and Jen, who’s not used to drinking alcohol, gets a little tipsy.
J: C`mon! Now you gotta dance with me or I’m gon be mad at you!
She grabs his hand and pulls him to a spot in the club, where it was almost no people…but not much light either. And she starts to dance.
She is dancing with her back in front of him. When she bends over to the front, rubbing her booty on him, she feels how she turn him on. She feels his little soldier getting hard and she feels his breath. More than ever she feels how much she wants him and how much he wants her as well. Both know what they are doing ain’t right, but neither Jen nor Allen can resist the seduction.
She turns around and he puts his arms around her. Then they kiss for the first time. Allen feels like he’s back in high school, kissing the prom queen. Damn, she feels so good….
They continue making out all the time until it’s time to leave the club. Arriving the hotel, Allen asks Jen:
I really appreciate you readin my story...imma try to add 1 part each day:
J [desires to say yes]: No, I don’t think that’s a good idea…
A: Ok then, can I call you?
A: Bye, sweetie. [kisses her cheek]
J: Have a good night.
A: I will, dreaming of you.
They won’t see each other for months, because Jen has to focus on practise and her games during the season and Allen has to be at training camp in North Carolina. Some day Allen just entries his hotel room, when his cell phone starts ringing.
J: It’s me. How you doin?
A: Oh hey, but tired, girl…Coach really fucks me up.
J: he just wants your best, Allen, you know that.
A: Anyway…what’s the matter?
J: Listen, honey, I need your help. Can you practise with me? I need to improve my technique if we want to win the playoffs.
A: Sure, I’ll see you on Saturday.
J: Tank you so much. I really appreciate that.
A: You’re welcome. Bye.
On Saturday Allen comes to Philly as promised and they practise in the Sixers arena. After helping her to improve, he says:
A: Ok, let’s go to 21. The one who wins may have a wish.
J: Fine. [knowing she has no chance to beat him]
As expected Jennifer loses.
J: Now what you want from me?
A: Will you have a shower?
A: I want to take a shower with you.
Jen smiles and they cross they Sixers locker room to the team’s shower. First she hesitates, but then she finally undresses after and after. Allen can’t move, staring at her body. She’s gorgeous…he ain’t never seen a body like hers before. She could tell from his pants how she attracts him.
J: Don’t tell me you always shower with your clothes on.
J: Should I help you?
She approaches him and takes his shirt off. Then he gets rid of his socks pants and underwear. Suddenly the scene with him and Tawanna in the shower comes to his mind.
A: bBby, we can’t do this. It ain’t right. Y’know, I got a wife, she don’t deserve it like that.
J [sadly]: I know. I’m sorry.
A: You don’t have to be sorry. It’s me that’s gotta be sorry. I didn’t intent to hurt you….I mean I really want you, but I just can’t have you. It’s such a mess.
J [looks down to the ground]: I know…
A: I hope we can still be friends. I don’t wanna lose you.
J: That’s gonna be hard to me. But I don’t wanna miss contact with you either.
Allen drives her home. In the mirror he can see she’s crying. He has also difficulties holding back his tears. They arrive.
J: You hungry?
J: So you wanna come in and I will cook you something, friend?
A [forces himself to smile]: Sure.
They eat and watch a movie afterwards. When it’s getting scary, Jen puts her head on Allen’s shoulder. He puts his arm around her. Both tired from practise fall into sleep.
Waking up the next morning, Allen realizes he should quickly go home. So he carries Jen to bed, because he doesn’t want to wake her. He leaves her a note that says: “Good morning, friend, I had to leave. My wife is waiting. Btw: You look cute when you sleep. Bye, Allen”.
Jen’s celly is ringing. She wakes up.
P: Good morning, this is Pat.
J: What’s up? Why you callin me so early?
P: I thought maybe I should tell you your dad just been at my office askin for your address.
J [excited]: You gave him?
P: Naw…I said I wasn’t allowed to.
J: Thank you.
J: He prolly mad at me.
J: I don’t pay him nothing…I bought my mom a new house, be he don’t get s***.
P: Hmm…that’s your business. I ain’t askin no question, but take care.
Derek, Jen’s father, has been waiting for his daughter to appear since he talked to Pat Croce. He knows she would have to show up for practise today, so he would keep waiting in front of the arena.
Then he sees her on the passenger seat of a black Escalade. But she’s not alone. Who’s that man? He always knew it, his daughter is here in Philly bitching around with somebody.
Allen accompanies Jen to practise today. He wants to meet Pat and give Jen another private class.
D: I got you, girl!
J [shocked]: Dad! What you doin here?
D: You know why I’m here, don’t be actin dumb! You wanna play me or what?
D: Think you smart, huh? You ain’t never been smart, know that. Come on, you think you special right now fuckin bitch ass celebrity!
J: Dad, please don’t…
D: Shut up! I just came to get my money.
J: I don’t owe you s***!
Derek wants to slap her, but Allen catches his arm.
A: Stop that, man! You sick!
D: You bitch wanna fight me? Ok go ‘head then fuckin fight me, punk!!
Before further actions can be taken, two security guards show up and make Derek leave the territory. Allen and Jen get inside the arena and entry Pat’s office. Jen cries all the way. She’s so angry and hurt, because she always hoped for a happy family, but now she realizes her dad won’t never change into good. When her eyes are dry again, she explains:
J: Y’know, since I can remember my father’s been a bitch to me. I got two siblings, a brother and a sister. I’m the youngest. My sister, man, he always used to treat her like a little princess. He loved her the most. My brother also noticed that. She always been the good girl with good grades, aiming to become a doctor…. She had clear visions and he appreciated it.
My brother wanted to become a football player. So he often stayed out to play with his friends until late at night. When he returned home, my father used to slap his face. But as the years gone by, he grew older, bigger and stronger. He got back at dad. So dad didn’t dare beatin him no more. [starts crying again]
I never got stronger than my father…I’m a female, how could I? So he went on beating me over and over. Sometimes my brother helped me and protected me, but he couln’t be always around….Damn there were days when I couldn’t even go to school and would have to stay at home, because of what my face looked like!
He beat my mom also. Sitting in my room alone, hearing her cry and scream, was even worse to me than being beaten myself. I broke my heart. I don’t know if she still loved him back then, but she needed him. She had no job and couldn’t easily get one, because her English ain’t very well. So he brought home the money. We needed the money to live.
P: She left him now?
J: Yes, the first thing I did with the money I gained off the WNBA deal, was buyin her a new house.
A: Ok, go on…
J: But the worst thing to me I guess prolly wasn’t the physical violation…it was the mental abuse. He always got at me like: “You won’t never amount to nothing, fuckin disease get on my money!”
P: That’s so wrong…I’m sorry.
J: See this is why I needed to make that draft…to prove him wrong. [takes a deep breathe] I know I should have hold you, Pat, right when we first had dinner…but I thought this might be used against me. I wanted to be given a chance to show I can play. No prejudices. Nothing.
P: What did you have to tell me?
J: I have epilepsy.
A: For real? I never noticed it,,,
P: Me neither…
J: Sure you have not! The day someone notice it, that will be the day I’ma retire from basketball.
J: But I can play, man. I’m just as good as my teammates, you know that…even though I gotta live with that disease.
Allen hugs her.
A: Stop cryin, baby. Your father, he ain’t worth it.
He kisses her forehead. She looks up to his face.
J: You ain’t got no problem with me being sick?
A: why would I? I love you for the person you are and you wonderful.
J [to Pat]: I’m still with the Glow?
P: I must be crazy to let you go! You my best player, know that!
Jen and Pat hug also. Today she won’t practise, but go home again – with Allen.
In the car Allen reflects on their relationship…and on the relationship he has with Tawanna. When they arrive at Jen’s house, he makes a decision.
A: Baby, I can’t do this any longer.
J: Do what?
A: Kiss me.
She does so. Damn, his lips feel so sweet, so soft. He gets out of the car, opens the door for her and carries her into the house and into her bedroom.
They start making out and undress each other. Oh, that’s what she has been dreaming of for so long. Hey lays her on the bed and looks into her eyes.
A: You sure?
J: I am.
And he kissed her. Her lips first, then her neck, going down to her breasts and then to her belly. Then he stops. He puts one hand on each of her thighs and opens her legs. He hesitates for a moment, but then he entries her.
At the beginning he moves slow and continues making love to her faster and harder. She enjoys feeling his breath and his kisses. She really adores him. And he is about to go crazy, feeling her nails on his back. Feeling her pressing them deep into his flesh, at every hit he takes on her. Damn, they have the best sex ever. She screams…not wanting him to stop now, and finally they come almost at the same time.
A: I love you, baby girl. Since I saw you the very first time, I always knew I love you…and I always will.
J: I love you too, Allen. You the hottest man on earth. I won’t never forget that night.
A: Please tell me, you gonna let me always be there for you until forever.
She doesn’t reply, because she has already fallen to sleep. He kissed her again and puts his arms around her to sleep as well. Tomorrow he would teller her about the plans he made.
When Jen wakes up the next morning, Allen is gone.
The bell goes. Jen opens. It’s Allen…with his kids. He kisses her.
A: I just told Tawanna I want to divorce.
Jen looks at the kids pulling on their dad’s white tee. They love him and they need him. His wife needs him too. Jennifer suddenly knows she can’t destroy this family. She loves Allen, she really loves him to death. But she can’t be with him.
J: You shouldn’t done this.
A: Why? Honey, I wanna be with you. I love you. I want to have a family with you, don’t you?
J: No. I mean, no…I don’t want to have no family. I want to put my career in first place.
A: I don’t expect you to get pregnant and stay at home.
J: It’s not the kids, I can’t spend too much time on you either. I have to focus on my job.
A: I know our relationship can work…
J: I don’t want no relationship! Get it man…it’s over! I was just gettin down and dirty with you cuz I was depressed n s***! Now leave me alone!
J: Please…I want you to go right now!
Allen leaves. As she just closed the door, Jen breaks down. She falls onto the floor and cries loudly.
J: Oh my God, what have I done!? Please help me! I love him so bad, so bad it even hurts! I really do love him!
Allen can’t believe what she just has said. His whole body is shaking. Damn, he loves that girl, no matter what. And she were running games on him all the time. Now weren’t her? A long time she wanted nothing to do with him, then suddenly she called him to practise with her. Probably that’s it. She wanted to take advantage off him. How could he be such a fool? But it just felt so real…how could something that felt so right, be so wrong?
And now Tawanna, will she take him back? He doesn’t even know if he wants her to take him back…he wants to be with Jennifer. God damn, why does he still want to be with her after all she did to him? His mind needs to get rid of her. But this seems like impossible….
- 9 –
He drives back home, intending to talk to Tawanna. He won’t tell her anything that went down. Nothing bout Jen. Tawanna knew about him dating Jen from TV. But he kept telling her that was just gossip and she believed him. Will she believe him this time?
T: What you want? Get your stuff? Or you want me to move? It’s your house after all.
A: No. I wanna apologize. I did you wrong. When I was in the car, I realized how much you mean to me.
T: Where you wanted to go? See that hoe? Jennifer?
A : Uuuh…well to be honest: yes. I had a crush on her, but I thought about it further and I figured out she ain’t got nuthin on you. You my baby momma, honey. I will always love you for life. She just pretty, that’s all.
T: You got feelings for her?
A: You…but those I got for you they stronger.
T: Slept with her?
A: Well….yes…I did…once, but it was an accident. I promise I won’t never cheat on you again, believe me. Baby, please forgive me…
T: You disappointed me, Allen…
A: I’m sorry.
T: …but I don’t want to divorce.
Allen is glad to hear that. At night he hits a club with Ray, who now is engaged to Cynthia. They also see Jennifer in there.
Allen doesn’t know it, but noticed him showing up too. So she grabs his Sixers team mate Kyle Korver to dance with him. Damn she looks hot wearing that little dress, Allen thinks as Jen and Kyle get extremely close to each other and finally kiss right in front of Allen. He feels mad pain as if someone just stabbed his heart…He feels tears of anger and sadness coming up. So he leaves the spot, not wanting her to see how she hurts him.
But she already has seen it and it breaks her heart. With Allen gone, Jen tells Kyle, she’s gotta go now and then she leaves the club.
For any reason she knew Allen would show up there tonight, because he often did when he was frustrated. So she went there too. Yes, she wanted to hurt him, when she kissed another guy. Him being mad at her would make the separation easier to both of them. She really hopes he will fix the problems he has with his wife…Allen deserves to be happy and so do his kids. Jen herself, she would overcome this. It’s gonna be a tough way, but when will make it. She could overcome anything, why not this?
Times passes by. Allen and Jen haven’t met each other anymore. In fact both avoid each other. But they are still unhappy and their basketball stats get worse and sores, because none of them really can concentrate on the game. It’s awful.
All-Star Weekend. Allen was voted as a starter and Jen would have to show up to represent. Seeing her in the crowd, Allen gives his all. He intents to impress her. And finally he wins the MVP. Receiving the trophy, Allen avoids looking at her. He gives some interviews, does a photo session, changes clothes and heads to the afterparty.
Damn, there she was. Standing right in front of him, talking to her girls.
Ray: Wanna leave?
A: Naw, man. This ain’t her party....why you don`t mind me standin here, man??? We gonna stay.
J: You wanna go to the bar?
A: No, I don’t. I just wanna stay right here!
Allen gets a bit angry….then suddenly loud noises fill the air, overtoning the music. Gunshots. Somebody’s firing into the club. People are screaming and ducking. Allen’s bodyguard tries to pull him away. But right then Allen sees Jen falling down to the ground. She’s bleeding.
A: Damn, leave me alone! She got hit!
He runs toward her and sits down where she’s lying. Blood pressures out from a wound on her chest. He lays her over his knees.
A: Damn, somebody call a doctor!!
He presses one hand on the wound aiming to stop the blood pressing out. His other hand holds her head.
J: I can’t breathe…
He noticed that before. It must be real hard to her to get some air. Probably the bullet hit her lungs.
A: Baby, you gotta stay strong, know that! I love you!
J: I love you too…
J: I always did…When I saw you showin up with the kids at my place…I thought you gotta stay with them. You got a beautiful family, Allen. I didn’t wanna destroy it.
A: But I wanted to be with you, didn’t you…
J: I wanted to be with you…but it wasn’t meant for me.
A: I still do. You the woman I love, not Tawanna.
J: I wanted you to see me kissing Kyle intending to hurt you.
A: I know.
J: I’m so sorry…
A: No, don’t be sorry. Just stay strong and say you will be with me.
J: Tell him I’m sorry too…
A: It’s gonna be alright. I will divorce and you gon move into my house. We gonna start a family some day. Our kids will have your eyes, they will be so beautiful…
J: ..it’s too late.
A: Naw…it ain’t! [kisses her]
J: I can’t take it no more…I really can’t breathe.
A: The doctor’s gonna get here soon.
She closes her eyes and dies in his arms.
He knows she’s dead, but he doesn’t want to realize it. It’s too hard…no, this could not be a forever goodbye.
He continues holding her in his arms and cries. He doesn’t care anyone see his tears. He just lets all of his feelings go.
And it really was too late. The doctors couldn’t do anything for her anymore.
After the funeral Allen and Tawanna divorced. He didn’t love her. And she didn’t want to be with him either if he had no feelings.
He loved Jennifer. And though now Jen lives an angel in heaven, as Allen uses to say, he still loves her. He will never be able to love no female the way he loves Jennifer. And he’s sure that when he dies, they will see each other again. They will be together someday and they will be happy then. But until then he just had to wait and continue with his life. She will be watching him no matter what.
She always loved basketball and being on the court. So he would wear her pink rubberband any time, he stepped out of there to have a game. She will always be with him, because she will keep living in the bottom of his heart until they will meet again in heaven….
Finally Allen looks upon the sky. It‘s all clear and blue. And then he cries, but also smiles at the same time.
