Being in a country where basketball is considered as the "main sport",i began to love watching it. Ihave had favorite local teams and never misssed a game they played.It took me awhile before my brother convinced to watch NBA.of course, i liked some guys..kevin garnett,grant hill,reggie miller and now, allen iverson. I didnt knew allen iverson at all since Ihave seen them play against Indiana. I asked my brother, "who is that li'l guy runing on the court?"then he sad, "he's allen iverson.yeah, he's little but sure knows what basketball is all about!".From that moment on, I watched him closely.Iwatched every game philly had,when they win..im happy, when they lose, im lonely. I liked him eversince.Who is Allen Iverson? All I knew about him is that he is a great baller.That's all.I am a frequent visitor of philly.com since the iverson incident came about.And I had a glimpse of Iverson's life.Now, I can say that I was wrong about him.He's just not a great baller.He's a man who was determined to succeed..a loving son,father, and a husband.The guy's got a very strong character that draws so much attention from people..those who really know him..and evenmore, those who do not.
Sure thing, one should not believe everything the read on the papers or see on tv.Everybody is entitled to their own opinions...and everyone should learn to respect that.

hi.thanks.i just couldnt help myself to write some things about him... with all the things he went through...i am inspired..i think i like him more now as a person rather than as a basketball player..
