I seen the film and thought it was amazing.I'm glad someone finally had the guts to tell Jesus's story and not spare any details. The movie is real intense because I heard when it first came out that an elderly lady had a heart attack while watching it.I was in crybaby meltdown in the theatre and throughout the movie.Never in my life have I sat in a theatre that was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. There was not a dry eye in the movies. The way they did Jesus took beating someone to a pulp to a whole new level.I was expecting to cry anyway because I am a Christian, not a so-called one,but the real deal.During one scene my heart started to beat extremely fast,I couldn't breath and I was gasping like I had been holding my breath.I finally got up and walked out but that didn't do me any justice because soon as I got outside I was shaking and crying out of control. That wasn't anything but my Holy Spirit showing me how serious Jesus dying for our sins was.If you don't want to change your life after seeing that, then the devil has you wrapped around his finger. The Bible, especially Revelations, isn't meant to scare anyone except those who don't obeye God's commandments. Not passing judgment on anyone so don't take it that way.But you are supposed to pray before you read the Bible to gain understanding.Just so you won't misinterpret anything it is saying.Christians are supposed to be happy when all the things in Revelations comes about because they know they are going to Heaven.Just imagine being in a place where there is no hunger, sadness, killing, stealing, rape, drugs and anything else that destroys people. |

I haven't seen it yet but me and my boyfriend are going this weekend. (hooray for Spring Break!) Anyway, I don't think I'm ready to see all that yet though. My head will probably be turned through half the entire movie cause I don't like all that blood and guts stuff, but I really wanna see the movie. I guess I'm gonna have to deal with it... I ain't gonna be a punk.
My cousin said she went to see it and hardcore THUGZ were in the movies sheddin' tears. She said it was a very good movie, but she never wanted to see it ever again. |
