PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 5 (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia 76ers try to respond to All-Star Allen Iverson's criticism on Thursday when they host the Los Angeles Lakers at the Wachovia Center.
After Philadelphia's 93-80 loss to Toronto here on Tuesday, the All-Star guard lit into his teammates for a lack of heart and toughness.
"Everybody is so pretty, don't nobody want go get out on the floor and get the ball," Iverson said. "Get down on there on the floor and scar your knees up, scar your elbows up and get the ball. Just tough things like that. I'm going to take a hard foul. We need that and we don't have that right know."
Iverson collected 36 points, eight assists and six rebounds for the Sixers, who have lost nine of 11.
The Lakers improved to 2-1 on their season-high seven-game road trip with a 111-106 overtime triumph over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.
All-Star Shaquille O'Neal, who had missed one game with a league suspension for critizing officials in a win at Toronto on Sunday, contributed a season-high 37 points, 12 rebounds and six assists for the Lakers, who shot 52 percent (41-of-79). Gary Payton added a season-best 30 points to go with six assists.
The teams split the last three regular-season series, with the Sixers winning all three games here. The Lakers beat the Sixers in five games in the 2001 NBA Finals.

| thanks for the info, keiondra. tim, i saw part of the game and i agree with you. Lebron was working it last night. if the rest of his team mates hustled at the end like he did they may have won the game. it's like they were just staring at him. |

| the first part of the interview was just thompson and allen. he asked him what he thought about people saying he takes to many shots. there was also something about the way he dresses (basically his style). the last part showed the family (wife and kids). thompson asked her what the hardest part of being his wife is and she said hearing people say negative things about him because he really has a great big heart. they showed deuce doing the crossover move. tiaura just sat there holding the baby. i'm sure i left out somethings. that's all i remember right now. |

she looked ok. i didn't really like her hair. her face was sorta fat i guess she is still losing the baby fat. they were sitting on the couch together.she wasn't ghetto at all. she seemed quiet or maybe she was just nervous. i think all the kids favor her more than him. they were all cute.
